Control. Discern. Adapt. Think. Decide. Move.

"Since changes are going on anyway, the great thing is to learn enough about them so that we will be able to lay hold of them and turn them in the direction of our desires. Conditions and events are neither to be fled from nor passively acquiesced in; they are to be utilized and directed."

- John Dewey
... You can't be more miserable or jubilant enough than your own doing.

it's painful enough for one to experience misery. but what could be worse than someone knowing he is miserable and just subconsciously decided to stay that way?

nice blog. er, do i have to seek your approval when i link you? i don't need to, right?

@Ladymacho: Nosebleed na naman? Patingin mo na iyan sa doctor. Hehehe.

@Coldman: Kaw rin, pacheck-up ka na. Hehe. Tama iyan - learn and move. Nakamove-on ka na ba?

@Kiks: That's awfully painful... but I guess the challenge there is for that person to be aware of himself and to pull that subconscious decision to his consciousness. It's difficult being devoured by our emotional default mechanism... 'cause sometimes, what it suggests is not what we really want.

Thanks Kiks. Oh, no you don't need to. Feel free to link me up. Will do the same. =)

I hate changes! Sobrang hirap mag move on kaya. T_T Sigh. I guess, that's my problem right now noh? I dwell to much in misery.

Haaay... I should change my way of thinking then. Think happy thoughts sabi nga ni Peter Pan.

Think happy thoughts...
Law of Attraction...
The Secret...

Haaay...

Whatever...

I'm blabbing nonsense. Pasensya na. hehe

@Coldman: Buti naman ;)

@Roxie: Same here... I am not fond of changes a lot. I once had like a separation anxiety... and changes were my fierce enemies. Then again, change is the only thing constant, no matter how banal I may say it.

Mabuti iyan, think about happy thoughts. Happy thoughts. Happy thoughts. Hehe. Kaya mo iyan! If I have fairy powder here, lumipad na ako riyan sa US at nag-SB tayo para kahit papano e malibang ka. ;)

In cases of unbearable moments, such as this one, I revert back to my past lotus reincarnation:

1. Suffering exists
2. Suffering arises from attachment to desires
3. Suffering ceases when attachment to desire ceases
4. Freedom from suffering is possible by practicing the Eightfold Path.

I usually stop at number 3 and do yoga instead. Clears up my clouded-up memory, made me closer to seeing Nirvana. Hehehe. =D

@Ruff: You sure do know a lot about yoga and meditation stuff. =)

I've never reached Nirvana. But I've been into Shangri-La a lot of times. That is, the mall along EDSA. Haha. I'm sure I did not make any sense here. Just plain blah blah. Ang corny ko talaga. Haha! =)

By the way, I like your reckoning about suffering. =)
