Natal Day: IV - X - MCMLXXXV

Loves to chat - Lately, yes. Chatting, especially with friends over a coffee table, seems to be very relaxing to me. It's sort of a stress reliever.
Loves those who loves them - Of course. No-brainer.
Loves to take things at the center - Ideally, yes, but I do get distracted at times.
Inner and physical beauty - It's difficult to say an acceptable yes or no here. Either way, you might think I'm too confident esteeming myself. The truth is, more often than not, the "beauty" that I hold I underrate. Though I'd like to believe I have more of the inner beauty.
Lies but doesn’t pretend - In as much as my consciousness is concerned, I don't approve on lies in the same degree as with pretension. Though I would have to give comment that during my younger years, I had the propensity to pretend being masculine "by the norm", though innately, I wasn't. So I surmise, if you'd credit the past, I pretended more than I lied.
Gets angry often - Definitely no.
Treats friends importantly - Definitely yes - "Whatever you tame, you become responsible."
Always making friends - Not always. But whenever I establish ties, I make sure my sincerity is there.
Easily hurt but recovers easily - I would have to say yes, I hurt easily (though you might not sense it). As with the recovery, that would depend on the situation.
Daydreamer - A big YES! Hehe.
Opinionated - Yes, but would not, in most cases, do assertions.
Does not care of what others think - I would care if what they think is something substantial.
Emotional - Yes, though I was more emotionally sensitive in my younger years.
Decisive - Yes, though I may need some time to arrive at a decision. It's not an easy deal for me. But when I arrive at one, I stick to it.
Strong clairvoyance - Not really though I had a few extrasensory experiences during my high school days.
Loves to travel, the arts and literature - A big YES for traveling. With arts, that would depend on what form of art you're talking about. As with literature... uhmmm... no.
Touchy and easily jealous - If I'd have to answer this way back like more than five years ago, I'd have to answer yes! But now, well, I'm still touchy and jealous, but not on the same degree as before. I get more control now for both.
Concerned - With what? Ambiguous... Hmmm... In most aspects, yes.
Loves outdoors - Yes. This accounts to my enthusiasm with traveling.
Just and fair - I try to be one in this unjust and unfair temporal reality.
Spendthrift - I'm guilty of this one. Sue me!
Easily influenced - Not really easily influenced - I'm actually quite stubborn.
Easily loses confidence - This I'd have to check. I'd like to believe I am more resolved with my self-esteem so as not to be unconfident. But if you'd check my childhood, you'd find me to be a very very shy timid unconfident kid.
Loves children - Yes, yes, yes!

8 Harebrained Drake Facts

I guess I am way behind here, nevertheless I am answering this meme. By the way, I was tagged by ladyMacho (^_^).

1. I have the ability to lock and unlock my jaw voluntarily. This is medically unsafe as "clicking" and locking the jaw is tantamount to creating friction on the joints that join the upper jaw and the mandible. Alas, I still click my jaw especially when I yawn, as I have been used to opening my maw to its limits since birth. My dentist joshingly says I've got talent. Hehe. She admonished to avoid doing it as it may severe the jaw joints. Well, it seems I need to practice yawning in a demure manner.

2. I'm a calorie freak. Labels on cereal boxes and fruit juices, junk food foil packs and dairy tetra packs... matter. I've developed this OC behavior on the food that I eat since the day I started shedding my baby fats worth 70 lbs. I think there's nothing wrong with monitoring Nutrition Facts of my food - it's a way of being a responsible food consumer. But too much concern is quite bothersome. It's a good thing I've learned to loosen up on the calorie counting (well, just a bit :p).

3. I did not attend my Accounting II class and consequently missed a test just to prove to one of my classmates (who pissed me off) that I was not a perfect student as he deemed me annoyingly. Gosh, this was childish and ridiculous. At hindsight, I would not have done such. But I did, 'cause I was totally pissed off. This was just plain insane. What's just funny was that I still managed to get a 1 on my report card.

4. I tutored my classmates for free. During college I was so dedicated in tutoring my classmates in most of our Mathematics subjects. I just felt happy that I was able to help them in their struggles.

5. I lost 2 inches off my waist in just a month without exercise. Oh yeah, I was apparently happy (Who wouldn't be happy to be size 32 from being size 34?) with the results but at hindsight it was insanely unhealthy. Weight-loss should be done with proper diet and proper physical exercise.

6. I shaved the hair on my limbs for nothing. This was when I was in first year high school. I just got curious on how my extremities would look and feel without hair. Haha! Which reminds me... there was an instance then when I accidentally shaved half of my left eyebrow. It freaked me out 'cause my face was not anymore symmetrical.

7. I have a fondness of watching tear-jerking films. A Walk to Remember made me appreciate such flicks. And so the list continued... A Moment to Remember, Bicentennial Man, The Notebook, ING..., A Sad Movie...

8. I think I am anal-retentive. Associated to my occasional obsessive-compulsive behavior, being anal-retentive predisposes me to being meticulous in such things like: In eating pancit, I eat the veggies first, then the noodles, then the meat/shrimps; I eat the skin and breading of hotdogs and chicken nuggets first; I want my CD covers folded the same way they are folded when they were bought; and #2 in this list.

Drake In The Spotlight

  • Is this your first meme? Yes, courtesy of Makoy.
  • When did you start blogging? 'Twas May 2 of this year.
  • What makes your blog unique? It's my ragbag of sorts! Need I say more? ^_^
  • What do you hope to accomplish with your blog? I want to transcribe and eventually share my hidden thoughts, repressed beliefs and advocacies, experiences, interests.... For one specific aim, I'd want to share why Drake is queer, and how the world apparently conspired in this plan. If people can find anything that I write helpful, of good use, or even pleasing to the senses and mind, I'd be very much glad. It's always nice to have people being "disturbed" by writing in a good way.
  • What's your favorite childhood memory? Probably the one when my whole family went to Luneta Park for a day of family bonding.
  • Are you a spiritual person? Yes, but not religiously rigid and astute. Spirituality and religiosity are two different things.
  • What is the weirdest thing that ever happened to you? Being the youngest in a class and the top ranker at the same time. For me, that's seemingly weird.
  • What is your best quality? Being patient.
  • What is your worst quality? Being insecure.
  • If you were stranded on a deserted island what three things would you want to have with you? This is a bit hard... Let me think ^_^ 1) A healthy coconut germ that can grow and bear fruits to give me potable water and food 2) A compass 3) A boat
  • What are your feelings on the "blog popularity" issue? I'm not much into it, but I don't mind if, for any reason/cause, Drake's Ragbag would be popular.
I was tagged by Makoy for this meme.

The creator of this "interview" is Christy of Christy's Coffee Break. There are a few instructions on how to answer it so please check them here.

If you haven't answered this meme and you have just read mine, then I'm tagging you to write your own "In The Spotlight". Got you! =)
